1st Euro-Asian BIOMIN Forum

The 1st Euro-Asian BIOMIN Forum took place in Tbilisi, Georgia from 27th to 30th October together with our distributing company INVET. 

It was a great honour for us to welcome the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Mr. David Galagashvili, Chief of Scientific Council of G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology, Dr. Mzia Kutateladze and Chief Veterinary Officer of Georgia  Dr. Misha Sokhadze.

Over 150 participants from 10 different countries were welcomed to discuss important topics such as:

The use of antibiotic-free alternatives in feeding and therapy of livestock production presented by Dr. Mzia Kutateladze, Prof. Merab Natidze, Georgia and Ms. Carina Schieder, BIOMIN Holding GmbH, Austria.

As well as possible solutions to problems occurring due to mycotoxicosis and endotoxicosis in animals presented by  Dr. Lucas Zilonka from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland,  Prof. Sergo Rigvava from the G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology, Georgia and Ms. Sabine Masching, BIOMIN Holding GmbH, Austria.

Beside the very interesting presentations and lively discussions, time was set to visit many places worth seeing in the beautiful town of Tbilisi as well as enjoying traditional Georgian specialities and folklore.
