Dr. Sujit Kulkarni, Managing Director, BIOMIN India, was present with his team at the awards ceremony to receive the honour. “We are extremely proud to receive this award from the Indian Poultry Journalist Association. Our team has worked very hard over the years, and the award is testament to our continuous efforts, with the aim of providing the highest level of customer service. It is indeed a humbling experience for us; we are committed more than ever to providing our best service and solutions to our customers and the market,” says Dr. Kulkarni.
The innovative portfolio of feed additive solutions from BIOMIN enables poultry producers to effectively manage mycotoxin risks as well as optimize their flocks’ gut performance. With the high level of international technical support that we bring into India on a frequent basis, we are able to really support our customers with knowledge transfer and service that can help to raise the standards in production and efficiency. In addition to this innovative approach, BIOMIN actively pursues educational development of our customers, a good example being the Science & Solutions magazine published monthly.
“The key to a company’s success is in its people,” continues Mr. Edward Manchester, Regional Director, BIOMIN Asia. “At BIOMIN, we believe in growing together with our employees and investing in them. For example, in January this year, we held our first BIOMIN India Family Celebration, where we hosted our employees and their family in Thailand, combined with a sales and technical seminar. This further strengthened the bond between our team members while upgrading their product knowledge and skill set,” added Mr. Manchester. “Alongside this, we invest in knowledge transfer activities in the Indian markets through frequent seminars, workshops as well as our major biennial Asia Nutrition Forum. This helps to ensure the Indian poultry sector is updated on the latest technological advances that can assist in improving the commercial efficiency in production”.
The IPJA Awards held on 5 August 2016 was well-attended by over 200 delegates including thought leaders, experts and professionals from the livestock and animal health industry.
BIOMIN India looks forward to supporting future trade associations and events in the local market, and will again be welcoming customers to its stand at Poultry India 2016 in Hyderabad from 23 to 25 November 2016.
