绿色生产

除了获得Opens external link in new windowISO 14001环境管理系统并积极实施外,百奥明已经实施了全生命周期分析(Opens external link in new windowISO 14040Opens external link in new windowISO 14044标准),量化所有产品在从开始到结束的生命周期中对环境的影响。在此基础上,百奥明明确并量化生产对环境的影响,将其与百奥明产品对动物的改善作用以及相应减少的二氧化碳当量排放进行对比。

企业的可再生资源

为了减少自身的碳排放,百奥明开始在日常业务经营中进行可再生能源的投资。办公楼和生产基地都配有太阳能电池板,采用更好的保温技术,能够使用甘蔗渣生物燃料进行供热和发电。因此,90%以上的能源需求都由可再生能源供应。

位于越南的新厂房,其办公室屋顶由草皮覆盖,而厂房墙壁由蒸压加气混凝土砌块构成,具有节能效果。太阳能电池板为工厂的运营提供了30%的能源。

百奥明的新总部将于2015年完工。新总部将具有绝缘的建筑外壳、地下水加热和冷却系统、热回收通风系统以及光伏发电系统。ERBER Group Campus是奥地利第一个获得由美国绿色建筑委员会颁布的铂金级证书LEED(能源领导者和环境设计)的建筑。

优质的饲料营养

优化饲料使用和提高动物生产性能,可以减少畜牧经营过程中的温室气体排放。百奥明饲料添加剂旨在改善饲料转化率,显著减少畜牧业生产中的二氧化碳排放。

对比研究表明,百奥明产品生产过程中每排放1吨的二氧化碳,可以相应减少肉鸡养殖过程中多达128吨的二氧化碳排放。除了对饲料转化率和体重增加的积极影响,试验还证明,在饲料中加入基质包被的植物性饲料添加剂(如市场上销售的百奥明®百健宝®)可以减少发酵产物,增加蛋白质消化率,从而显著减少猪生产过程中的氨气排放。
