Mycotoxin contaminated grains are a global problem that leads to immunosuppression and an altered response to vaccination programmes in poultry. These effects result in a decline in animal performance and ultimately poorer profitability. Results from the latest BIOMIN Mycotoxin Survey 2013 show that deoxynivalenol is still the most revalent mycotoxin worldwide.
