Absolute protection

The Mycofix® portfolio of feed additives represents the most state-of-the-art solution for protecting animal health by deactivating mycotoxins that contaminate farm animal feed. Its safety and efficacy are proven by 7 EU authorizations for substances that deactivate mycotoxins.

  • Enzymatic biotransformation of zearaleone, fumonisins, trichothenes (e.g. DON, T-2 toxin) and OTA
  • Highest aflatoxin adsorption (99%)
  • Proven safety and efficacy backed by 7 EU authorizations
  • Enhanced bioprotection
  • Unique endotoxin protection
This video explains the modes of action of Mycofix®.
Mycofix® unites three strategies to combat mycotoxins using patented proprietary technology, making it the most scientifically advanced mycotoxin protection available.

Make the right choice

Identifying the right toxin binder or mycotoxin deactivator requires an understanding of your operation, the contamination of your feed, the status of your animals and your objectives.

Your BIOMIN representative can assist you in choosing the most cost-effective option that generates real return on investment (ROI).

The science behind Mycofix®

The key to effective mycotoxin risk management is a 3-pronged mitigation strategy: adsorption, biotransformation and bioprotection.

Mineral adsorbents comprising the toxin binder selectively bind adsorbable mycotoxins such as aflatoxins and ergot alkaloids.

Adsorption - A blend of minerals selectively bind aflatoxins.

A unique combination of patented specific enzymes and biological components converts mycotoxins into non-toxic, environmentally safe metabolites.

A scientifically proven blend of carefully selected plant and algae extracts support liver and immune function.

*According to EFSA, measurement of improved animal performance is not a tool to evaluate the effectiveness of ‘Substances for the Reduction of Mycotoxin Contamination.’ As proof of the effectiveness of Mycofix®, BIOMIN has provided official biomarkers trials accepted in the course of the EU registration process. Significance of given results may vary and depend on many factors.
